... but first, click on that gorgeous cover above and read the excerpt from Photographs of Claudia. :-)

The Y-Tour is hitting the road in February. Escape the winter doldrums and join the Bella authors in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for a weekend of partying, volunteering, and best of all -- booking! I announced our tentative plans here a few weeks ago but we've had some changes. Our headliner for the event is none other than Katherine V. Forrest, and she'll be joined by Karin Kallmaker, Ruth Perkinson, upcoming author Amy Dawson Robertson, new author Dillon Watson, and moi. And here's the new schedule:

Friday, February 12th, 6 - 8 pm: Welcome Party at the New Moon Bar on Wilton Rd. New Moon is providing beer, wine & hors d'oeuvres -- Aren't you all impressed with my fluency in French? -- and we'll be supporting Iron Ladies, which benefits free mammograms for women in need, and the HIV/AIDS support network Broward House.

Saturday, February 13th, 10 am - 4 pm: Workday at the Stonewall Library & Archives on Sunrise Blvd. Join us in painting, landscaping & straightening the stacks at the nation's premier repository for LGBT collections. Executive director Jack Rutland promises he can find work for anyone who wants to pitch in.

Sunday, February 14th, 1 - 4 pm: Stonewall is hosting a reading, signing and Q&A as part of ArtExplosion, Broward's 2-week festival of arts. Can you think of a better way to spend Valentine's Day than with the authors of Curious WineThe Kiss That Counted and Out of Love? Sure you can -- just bring your sweetie!

After the Y-Tour, several of us are hopping aboard the Norwegian Sky for a cruise over to the Bahamas. This is NOT a Bella event, but if you'd like to book it on your own, I'm sure you'll find plenty of grrrls on board. Sails February 15th for 4 nights.

That's it for now. We're working on the official website, but if you'd like a glimpse of how much fun we had last year in Denver, check out this link. If you have questions or want to keep updated on who's coming, where folks are staying and how to get around, get over to the Bella Authors Forum.

Did I mention that I've posted an excerpt of Photographs of Claudia?
