I wrote last week about my recent frenzy, which included the annual Xena Convention in LA, a presentation for the Distinguished Author Series at Stonewall Library & Archives in Ft. Lauderdale, and a book reading & signing in Gulfport, FL. I've posted some photos and a brief summary of these events on the Events page.
Getting one manuscript off my desk means it's time to start another one, which I'll start mumbling about in the next couple of months or so when I have a few words written. I'm still enjoying notes from those who have picked up Worth Every Step, and in case you missed it, I fielded a number of questions on that story at the Virtual Living Room over the weekend. Also, I'll be kicking off promotions soon for Small Packages. Lastly, you'll find a new short story called "Decline to Continue" on the Extras page. These two characters -- Mia & Jill -- have been chattering lately, which isn't actually a good thing because they're not in my next two novels. The little sign I'm holding up is for them. But maybe they'll start up again when I wrap those up. Comments

I am thrilled (and I do mean thrilled) to report that I've turned in the manuscript for Sea Legs, which is due out in September. The work on the book is nowhere near finished, but getting it off my desk and on to someone else's feels fabulous. The extra-fabulous part is that the someone else is Katherine V. Forrest, who edited Secrets So Deep. I am so very lucky to have the opportunity to work with Katherine again, and I'm very excited about seeing her hand in a light romantic tale such as this one.
