Thanks to Bedazzled Book Peddler for hosting my titles, and especially to the dozens of readers who stopped by and picked up Worth Every Step. It was an honor to talk with all of you, pose for photos and sign your books. Sometimes I have to pinch myself when I realize how lucky I am to be part of the Xenaverse. I have a busy week coming up. On Wednesday, I'll be reading at the Stonewall Library & Archives in Ft. Lauderdale. Then on Sunday, I'll be up in Gulfport (the lesbian capital of Florida) for a book signing with Ruth Perkinson & Lee Lynch. See the Events page for details on these events. By the way, Lee's just been through knee surgery, and she could use some warm vibes from everyone. When I left LA, I flew up to Seattle to spend a few days with a friend, and now I'm in Portland with my pal Stephanie Solomon-Lopez, book cover designer extraordinaire. I'll be back in Miami on Sunday, and I hope it warms up by then! Comments

I'm back from my annual trek to Xena Land, the convention in LA where I gather with friends I don't see nearly as often as I'd like. It was a wonderful party, our typical celebration of all things Xena, and it was punctuated by a stunning performance at the Roxy Theatre in Hollywood by none other than Xena star Lucy Lawless (photo by Ann). If you ever doubt there's such a thing as a perpetual motion machine, have a look at the cycle of adoration from Lucy to her fans and back again.
