(Updated Below) I've just added three new happenings to the Events page. Okay, so one of them just was a book release, Small Packages, due out May 12. I can't believe I said JUST a book release! It's a big frakkin' deal to get a book out, and it's top of mind for me because I finished the final galley-proof this afternoon. Anna & Lily fans are going to love this one. I'm starting to get the preliminary info on GALLA, a two-day book fair & expo in Ft. Lauderdale April 24-25. Their website is taking shape as the details come together, and I promise to tell you more later. But our big event -- OUR BIG EVENT -- is the upcoming Y Tour in Denver June 4-7. Details are being finalized, but the main events are in place: a private reading & signing with Bella & Spinsters authors on Thursday night, a big dance on Friday (where a portion of our book sales will go to Metro Denver's Habitat for Humanity), a community build with Habitat on Saturday (come see us swing our hammers with the girls from Tomboy Tools!), and another reading on Sunday at the Belmar Public Library. We're putting together a website to promote our visit to Denver, to suggest accommodations, and to let folks register for our private event on Thursday. I'll post that link here once the site is live. We're thrilled at this chance to meet the Denver lesbian community, and humbled by the opportunity to show Denver a bit of Bella & Spinsters' best. I hope you'll plan to join us in the Mile-High City. Finally, if you stopped by last week, you saw that I'm holding a scavenger hunt here on the site for the cover of my September release, Sea Legs. Scroll around until you find the tiny cruise ship (I'm told it resembles a sneaker), click on it to see the cover, and drop me a note through the contact page. I'll enter you in a drawing for a free autographed copy. So far, I've heard from 32 of you. If you don't see your name on this list -- and if you didn't get a reply from me -- my website ate your note, and you'll need to write it again.
