No matter how many books I write, it's always a thrill to announce a new one. Small Packages is on the way out the door from Bella Books, and I'm already formulating the story for the 4th book in the Shaken Series. I got an interesting call last week from the folks at Production, one of those "oh, shit" calls informing me of a printing error in the first run. Those of you who pre-ordered will get what we lovingly call the "Collector's Edition." It isn't a biggie and most people won't even notice, but we're all perfectionists at Bella and it grieves us to find boo-boos, no matter how small. Just for fun, if you spot the error, drop me a note and I'll enter you in a drawing for an autographed copy of the corrected version, already in press. We're gearing up for our trip to Denver next month. In case you missed that announcement, the authors of Bella & Spinsters Ink are launching the Y Tour, a 4-day celebration of books and sisterhood in the Rocky Mountains. Join us if you can as we introduce our stories to the women of Denver, and work alongside the girls of Tomboy Tools on a Women's Build project for Metro Denver's Habitat for Humanity. Bookmark the Y Tour site -- it's about to get very hot! I had a chance to talk books recently with pal JLee Meyer. Check it out in Curve Magazine. Thanks to Cecelia Martin of the dear departed Oscar Wilde Bookstore in NYC. She wrote a nice review of Worth Every Step for the Lambda Book Report, and you can read it on the book page.
