I'll be making a surprise announcement here in a week or so, but you can have a sneak preview if you find where I've hidden the Jack-in-the-box. I hid it very well this time, so you'll have to page through the site until you find it, click on it and  you'll see the news. I'll be posting this link over at the Bella Forum, on Facebook & MySpace, but do me a favor and keep the news under your hat until I make the official announcement. I haven't nailed down all the details yet.

I'm in beautiful Tennessee this week on my annual family vacation, which means I'm playing a lot of golf with my brother-in-law. We usually keep score by counting how many balls we Iose. Only one today, and that on the 18th hole! Tomorrow I'm playing at a Jack Nicklaus course, and I expect to lose about 10. The rough is very unforgiving.

I got word from DeeJae Cox at the Los Angeles Women's Theatre Project that they'll be doing an all-new Literature in Motion performance at the 20% New Works Festival this fall. Last year, they adapted excerpts of Aftershock for the stage. This year's selections have a "journey" theme, and they chose ... you guessed it: Worth Every Step. I hope to make it to LA to see the production, but the chances are slim since I've already booked a fall trip to P'Town for Women's Week.

Since I last blogged, the Golden Crown Literary Awards Finalists were announced. I'm very proud to have all 3 of my 2008 titles on the shortist: Without Warning (Contemporary Romance & Ann Bannon Popular Choice), Aftershock (Dramatic Fiction), and Secrets So Deep (Romantic Mystery/Suspense/Thriller). The awards will be handed out at the 5th annual GCLS Literary Conference in Orlando, July 23 - 26. Registration for the conferences closes on July 15th. Karin Kallmaker & I are planning a day at Epcot with our readers on July 27th. Please join us.

Terrific news.
Hiding Jack "very well" worked for me. I've never been able to find any of your hidden links before and yet I found this one real quick.

Of course the first thing I find, on the 3rd page I looked at, is the Sea Legs cover icon. I say of course, because I couldn't find it for love or money when you first put it up *rolls eyes at self*.
Then I found the jack in the box without too much pain (thank goodness!). It's great news, I can hardly wait smilies/grin.gif
