If you found the Jack-in-the-box I hid somewhere on the site last week, you already know my big news: Book 4 of the Shaken Series -- Mother Load -- is definitely on the Bella schedule for release September 2010.

I know I've hinted before that I would write a 4th in the series, but I've consistently said it couldn't possibly happen until 2011. I had two other books planned for 2010, but I was able to talk The Powers That Be into letting me move one of them back six months to make room for another installment in the series. You can probably guess from the title -- and from the epilogue to Small Packages -- where Book 4 is headed.

Other news ... Sea Legs has cleared all the hurdles and is on its way to the printer. That means I'll be posting Chapter 1 soon, along with the background on the book.

And still more news ... Bella Books will be announcing a Special Exclusive Offer soon. It's very Special. And very Exclusive. Watch the Bella & Spinsters Authors Forum for the first official word, which I'll try to post here in an update as soon as it breaks. Special.

Update

hannahfreeOn the heels of smash reviews of its world premiere at Frameline 33, Bella Books is proud to announce the acquisition of print and digital rights to the novelization of Hannah Free, to be written by award-winning playwright Claudia Allen, who wrote the original play as well as the screenplay for the movie.

Starring SHARON GLESS (Cagney & Lacey, Queer as Folk), Hannah Free tells the unabashed love story of two women over several decades and illuminates the universal challenge of defending why and who we love. Visit BellaBooks.com for details on the book release and exclusive offers, and HannahFree.com for film festival air dates this summer and fall.

So glad to hear about the 4th book being published in 2010 versus waiting. I'm anxious to read how life will progress after the ending of the 3rd book. It should be fun. Thanks again.
