Lesbians everywhere! I look forward to this week every year, when thousands of lesbians gather in the desert for The Dinah. I've been coming to Palm Springs for ten years, but I have to be honest: I come for the golf. The Kraft Nabisco Championship is a major on the LPGA tour, and I always enjoy following the tournament, especially on its last two days. While there are thousands of bikini-clad lesbians lining the pool at the Wyndham, there are plenty in the gallery at the KNC as well. Okay, so they aren't in bikinis, but that means I don't have to wear one either.

sealegs2.jpgBesides the tourney, we'll also be taking in a performance of Prove It On Me, a jazz musical written by Dee Jae Cox, with music by Michele Weiss. The show enjoyed a great run in LA last year, but I missed it, so I'm very excited about catching this special encore performance.

I spent last week in the Bay Area and had a chance to see Katherine V. Forrest, who just finished the first editing pass of Sea Legs. If there's one thing I appreciate, it's an editor with a sense of humor. I'm still chuckling at one of her notes, which I'll share when I put up the book page. Thanks to all of you who went hunting through the site for the hidden cruise ship and found the new cover for Sea Legs. As promised, I drew a winner from those who dropped me a note. Congratulations to Karen W, who'll collect an autographed copy of the book when it's released in September.

I'm still getting nice notes on Worth Every Step (thank you very much!), and I appreciate the feedback on Chapter 1 of Small Packages. I had a feeling you'd enjoy that little interlude. For those who haven't read it yet, you'll find it by clicking on the cover above.

I live in Myrtle Beach and was syked that you mentioned it in Worth Every Step, even if it wasn't in the best light. I love to read your books. I hadn't picked up a book in a long time until I discovered you. Thanks for that!
