Could you sleep in a tent on a rocky ledge in a biting wind with temperatures below zero? I bet you could if your tentmate was exotic Addison Falk, half Peruvian, half British, and all-American lesbian. Or perhaps you'd go for southerner Mary Kate Sasser, charming and determined, with a daring spirit that finds adventure around every rock ... and in her tentmate. Come along on their journey to the summit of Africa's Mount Kilimanjaro. Experience the shortness of breath, the relentless uphill march, and the unending beauty of Africa and its people.
If you're planning to attend the Xena Convention at the end of January, I'll be there signing Worth Every Step, and other titles. Bring along your copy or wait to buy one there. Several of my titles sold out last year, but I'll have plenty of this one, along with Without Warning & Aftershock, the first two books in the Shaken Series. Hope to see you Xenites there. Let me also take a moment to remind folks that I'll be reading and taking questions at the Stonewall Archives & Library in Ft. Lauderdale on February 11th. The lovely Ruth Perkinson will be there to fetch me water if my throat should go dry. Trust me when I say this: South Florida in February does not suck.

I think it's a great achievement, though. It can't be pleasant to sleep on cold, hard ground at an uncomfortable angle and eat unappetizing food for two weeks, but I'm sure the summit is well worth the trip!
Congrats on making the trek and for then writing about it. I can't wait to get my hands on a copy.
Cheers,
