The Dallas LesFic Book Club has chosen Worth Every Step as its June read. They'll meet at 6:30, talk about the book, and then -- if we can work it out -- I'll call in for a Q&A from 7:30 to 8:30. It's held at Urban Dog Coffee, 2720 Oak Lawn in the Big D.
The book club was launched by Sandy Thornton & Carsen Taite, and you'll more info at the Jewel website.
Update: I spent the whole day driving on the second leg of my trip home from Denver. My goal was to get to Tennessee from Kansas City in time to call in, and I made it! Lots of interesting questions, more about my hike to the top of Kili than the book, but it was fun to relive my glory days (i.e., the days when I could hike all day without my knees throbbing). Thanks again to those who came out to talk about WES, and I meant what I said about making it down to Dallas in person one of these days.
