I'll be in New York for the 21st Annual Lambda Literary Awards. I'll be cheering on three of my friends with short-listed titles: Karin Kallmaker's The Kiss That Counted, Ruth Perkinson's Breaking Spirit Bridge & Josie Gordon's Whacked.

Update: My heartiest congratulations to Josie Gordon of Bella for her win in the Mystery Category with her debut novel, Whacked. And if you happened to hear the squeal when Karin Kallmaker's The Kiss That Counted was announced as the winner in the Romance category ... well, that was me.
