Book Signing

Tired of all the snow & bitter cold? There's a cure, you know: The Tampa Bay Area in February!

Please join me with Lee Lynch & Ruth Perkinson. We'll be gathering in Gulfport, the Lesbian Capital of the South, for a book reading, a signing, Q&A and lots of jovial conversation. And best of all ... coffee! Come on out to see us. Bring those unsigned books from your collection, and pick up a few new ones for your friends. Better yet, bring your friends! We can keep doing these events if we can turn out a crowd that's hungry for lesbian fiction, so push them, drag them, bribe them ... whatever it takes. And there's a pretty good chance we'll also be turning out for the Lady in Red Valentine's Dance the night before.

Update on Event:

Gulfport is glorious! Everything broke our way -- the weather, the turnout, and most important, Lee's knees! We were worried down the stretch Lee wouldn't be able to make it after suffering complications from knee surgery, but there she was. We had a terrific turnout, 40-50 lesbian fiction readers who stopped by to pick up books, to chat, and to hear the three of us read selections from our work. A big, huge, gigantic, enormous THANKS goes to Suzanne at ProSuzy for publicizing our event. ProSuzy is a network of lesbians throughout the Tampa Bay Area that keeps the community informed of events, opportunities & news that's important to them.
