I'll be signing books at Malaprops in Asheville, NC from 2 to 4 p.m. with pal Ruth Perkinson, author of Vera's Still Point. For those who haven't met Ruth in person, be sure you get plenty of rest the night before, because she's a whirlwind of energy, just like her books.

Ruth will be signing her new book, Piper's Someday, and I'll have my new release, Out of Love. Drop me a note if you're looking for one of my other titles, and I'll be sure to throw it in the car just in case it isn't in stock. For all of you locals, Mulligan is set in the NC mountains.

Thanks to Malaprop's for their hospitality. What a great hometown bookstore! And a special thanks to the gang from Hendersonville -- Jane, Michelle, Gay, Sam, Karen & Hank -- who drove up to keep us company and walked out with all the books they could carry. You guys paid, didn't you? Lots of drop-ins getting their first look at lesbian fiction, thanks to Ruth's persuasive powers. Sorry I don't have photos -- not one keeper in the lot.
