Reading & Signing in Nashville

June 1, 2009

On my way out to Denver for the Y Tour, I'll be stopping Monday night in Nashville, TN, for a reading and signing at what has become the happening place for gays & lesbians in central TN -- The OutLoud Bookstore & Revive Coffeehouse. Did you hear that? Books & coffee!!!! It doesn't get any better than that. I'll share parts of my presentation from the Stonewall Distinguished Author Series on memorable characters, and will have lots of books on hand.

Update: More details about this event. I'll be presenting at 7 p.m. at the OutCentral Cultural Center at 1709 Church St. in downtown Nashville. At 7:45, we'll move the whole party two doors down to the OutLoud Bookstore, where I'll sign and chat until they turn out the lights.

Update 2: What a wonderful evening in Nashville! Jim Hawk rolled out the red carpet and showed off their bookstore -- which is flourishing even in this economic downturn -- & the brand new cultural center. I met lots of new friends, and talked about books until they threw me out. You know those bookstores that always seem to have the "same old, same old?" Not the OutLoud Bookstore. Their stock is fresh, and best of all, they carry practically all the new Bella titles. If you're anywhere near Nashville, be sure to stop in and say hello.
