I have another Guest Blog for you, this time from Kim Baldwin. At the HOW Panel in P'Town, Kim read a snippet from her new romance, Focus of Desire, just enough that JLee Meyer & I scrambled for the papers so we could read what happened next. Hot stuff! I just had to let you know. Be sure to read all the way through because I've dropped in a couple of announcements at the bottom. I had the delightful honor of sharing the stage with four of my favorite authors in PTown for the HOW benefit last week--Karin Kallmaker, JLee Meyer and KG, with Radclyffe moderating. What a blast it was! Never have I laughed so much on a panel. That's the best part about these public appearances--not only getting the chance to get to know the readers who support us so enthusiastically, but also having the opportunity to spend some quality time with authors I so admire (Shaken is one of my all time favorite books--can't wait for the new version!) And now KG is nice enough to invite me to shamelessly plug my new release on her web site? I must be living right.

My fifth novel, Focus of Desire, (released last week) was a bit of a departure for me. Most readers comment on the action in my books--because two are intrigue/romances (Hunter's Pursuit and Flight Risk) and the other two contain a lot of outdoor adventure scenes (Force of Nature and Whitewater Rendezvous). But Focus took a different turn, and ended up being sizzling, steamy romance, where the 'action' is of the sexual variety. Definitely the most explicit of my books in that regard, so probably not a book you want to read at work...(click below to continue)
